Krion™

Krion™ is often described as a sustainable alternative to traditional construction materials, it is composed of two-thirds natural minerals (specifically Aluminium Trihydrate, or ATH) and a low percentage of high-resistance resins. It is commonly used for both interior and exterior applications, including residential countertops, high-traffic commercial spaces, and healthcare environments due to its hygienic properties.

Key Characteristics and Benefits

Non-porous and Hygienic, Krion is non-porous, preventing the growth of bacteria and fungi without additives.

  • Seamless Joints: The material can be joined using specific chemical welding kits, resulting in imperceptible joints, which prevents dirt accumulation.
  • Thermoformable: It can be heated and molded into curved shapes.
  • Durable & Repairable: It is resistant to fire, scratches, impact, and harsh cleaning agents, and can be repaired to look like new.
  • Warm to the Touch: It offers a matte, stone-like feel that is not cold.
  • Eco-Friendly: It is 100% recyclable, and its production process involves low volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions.
